The DS World
I help Arizona provider agencies strengthen staff knowledge, improve behavior-support practices, and better understand the requirements of the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
Through The DS World, I provide affordable DDD training, behavior treatment plan consultation, educational resources, and guidance for agencies, professionals, families, caregivers, and legal guardians.
My DDD and PRC Experience
I previously served as Chair of the DDD Program Review Committee for District East for approximately two and a half years. In that role, I reviewed behavior treatment plans and proposed restrictive interventions for alignment with Article 9, DDD policies, individual rights, clinical recommendations, and Positive Behavior Support principles.
I also developed and delivered training for Support Coordinators and provider agencies on PRC expectations, behavior plans, individual rights, and DDD requirements.

My Approach
My goal is not simply to help agencies meet a requirement or prepare a behavior plan for PRC approval.
I help teams understand how to create and implement practical, person-centered supports that protect individual rights and promote measurable progress in the member’s safety, independence, participation, and quality of life.
Quality training should help staff understand not only what they are expected to do, but why it matters to the person receiving services.
