Services
The DS World provides free educational information to help individuals, families, caregivers, and provider agencies better understand Arizona’s Division of Developmental Disabilities system.
This community service includes updates on DDD news and changes, links to helpful DDD resources, educational materials, answers to frequently asked questions, and practical information about services, rights, behavior support, training requirements, and provider responsibilities.
Our goal is to make important DDD information easier to understand and more accessible to the people who need it.
As a former DDD Program Review Committee Chair, I consult with teams on the development and improvement of behavior treatment plans.
The DS World does not simply focus on writing plans for PRC approval. We help teams create plans that are clear, practical, person-centered, and designed to support meaningful progress for the member.
Our consultation includes reviewing behavior treatment plans to identify strengths, gaps, unclear language, implementation concerns, and areas that may need stronger alignment with Positive Behavior Support principles, individual rights, clinical recommendations, and DDD requirements.
The goal is to help teams develop plans that are not only prepared for PRC review, but are also useful to the people implementing them and capable of supporting measurable improvements in the member’s safety, independence, quality of life, and overall progress.
The DS World offers practical, affordable DDD training online, onsite at agency locations, and during evening hours.
